But, THIS HERB CLASS...The Medicinal Herb Garden...focuses on cultivated herbs that have magic powers. HEALING!!

A tour through my personal herbal sanctuary that has endangered darlings like Goldenseal, obscure Prickly Pear, standard stalwarts like Echinacea and Elderberry, golden gems like Yarrow and Yellow dock, surprises like Onions, Garlic, Peppers and Horseradish, incomparable Comfrey and comforting Lavender. Yes, some of them are typically wild, but I encouraged them to settle down for a while with their tamer sisters.

Sat Aug 7 And Sat Sep 11   10:30 am    Farmers Formulary - Respiratory Remedy Class I and II.    (formerly called the Plague* Remedy Class). If you only have one herbal remedy in your herbal arsenal, THIS IS IT.

Respiratory illnesses attack almost everyone, every age, every color, every sex, everywhere at some point in the year.  We cannot seem to escape them.  ACHOOOOOO.

This is a complex tincture remedy with a labor-intensive recipe.  In this class I will teach you how to compound it, let you have a hands-on experience of making medicine, share the recipe and explain the WHY and HOW each herb works.  The recipe makes a two tincture set: formula 1 and formula 2.

These two tinctures--formula 1 and formula 2, are a "set" and must be used together.

One set will treat one person for 10 days.

There are NINE herbs in this awesome recipe so they pack quite a punch. Their herbal actions include anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-pyretic, anti-viral, anti-oxidant, anti-septic, anti-inflammatory, diaphoretic, alterative, vulnerary, antispasmodic, hypotensive, febrifuge, carminative, astringent, hemostat, diuretic, expectorant, anodyne, mucilaginous and cholagogue.

The herbs are beneficial for the respiratory, immune, lymphatic, endocrine, circulatory, nervous, digestive and cardio-vascular systems. They support the liver, kidney, bladder and entire alimentary canal.  They are high in mineral and nutrient content. I can’t say enough about the healing properties of these combined herbs.  This is not only a wonderful hands-on formulating class it’s a chance to learn about the powerful healing constituents of these NINE herbs.

Respiratory Remedy may quite possibly be the BEST CLASS OF THE YEAR.  It has traditionally been the most expensive because of the cost of the material to make it.  But, this year I have revamped the procedure.  Now, instead of ten sets of tinctures being in the cost of the class I HAVE LEFT IT UP TO THE STUDENT WHETHER OR NOT TO BUY THE TINCTURES.

So, this drastically lowered the price of the class from over a hundred dollars to $35 for both classes (8-7 and 9-11).  And, the tinctures will be available to purchase OR NOT....your choice.

The tinctures will be for sale during the two class dates (Aug 7 and Sep 11) at $15 for a set of two tinctures (4 bottles).  THIS IS A PHENOMENALLY LOW PRICE.   After Sep 11 the price will be $39 for a set of two tinctures.

ONE PRICE: TWO CLASSES         $35 for Aug 7 AND Sept 11   Tinctures sold separately.
